I am so happy with the progress I have made with all my ventures. Can’t wait to see what else is ahead. ...

You’re all about hot fun in the summertime, just NOT inside your home. For this week's nod to National Homeowners Month, here are four #HomeownerHacks to keep your home cool without laying a finger on the thermostat:⁣

1. When you leave for the day, close the curtains, blinds, or shades.⁣
2. Rotate ceiling fans counterclockwise to force air down and create a breeze.⁣
3. Crack open your windows in the evenings when the air outside is cool.⁣
4. Swap heavy bedding for breathable cotton sheets and lightweight coverlets. ⁣

Happy home-owning, friends! Got a #HomeownerHack you can’t live without? Let me know in the comments!

If I had to choose my top 3 best tips to give someone wanting to sell their home, here's what I'd go with:

Number one: Prioritize repairs over upgrades. Upgrades look nice, but prioritize repairs first. The roof, HVAC, electric, and plumbing should be in good condition.

Number two: Professional photography is a must. Don't let anyone convince you that photos taken on your phone will do the trick, the photos marketing your home are the first impression buyers have of your home.

Number three: Don't wait! Get started now - Summer 2022 is the time to list!

As an Austin native, I have witnessed the incredible transformation of one of the fastest-growing cities in America. I have lived all over Austin, which makes me a great resource for the newest hot spots and stories of what they used to be. I have a wide range of abilities, including drone photography, and I’m always doing my best to learn from others and sharpen my craft. When I first moved to the Holly neighborhood in 2015, I started participating in the East Austin Studio Tour, and that’s when I began to truly appreciate the amazing community and culture that is Austin, TX. I can’t imagine living anywhere else!
